TWO police cars and an ambulance were called to the scene of a collision on Hazelwick Avenue East in Three Bridges, this afternoon.
The ambulance crew treated a woman who suffered a head injury.
The vehicle apparently hit a barrier in the middle of the road.
A police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a report of a single vehicle collision in Haslett Avenue East, Three Bridges, at 2.40pm on Monday.
"The woman driver had suffered a suspected medical episode and had lost control and collided with some barriers.
"She was taken to hospital by ambulance and the road was closed until 3.20pm for recovery of the car."
