WEIGHT Watchers from Lingfield are set to continue their fundraising efforts and get fit in the process.

Bridget Catherine, who runs the Thursday night group from Lingfield and Dormansland Community Centre , was joined by Terri Parkinson, Laura Jacques, Kathy Musgrove and Susie Canham on a 5k run around Hyde Park.

The runners raised money for the National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy in St Piers Lane, Lingfield – the cash is still being collected and counted.

And following their success the women are planning to take part in a 10k run in Brighton in November, again raising money for the NCYPE.
