VIC MARLEY has stood down as Crawley Town chairman after six years in the job.
Dave Pottinger, a director for the last three years, has been announced as his replacement.
Since Marley took the helm at the Broadfield in May 2007, Crawley have gone from strength to strength, with successful runs in the FA Cup and two promotions.
However, Marley believes Pottinger is now the man to guide Crawley forward.
"I have enjoyed every minute of my time as chairman and for me the greatest satisfaction is seeing the club in a far better position than when I joined with a dedicated management team looking to continue the progress we have made," Marley said. "In Dave I think we have a worthy successor. He is very passionate about this football club and wants to help take it forward and continue to build on the foundations we have put in place."
