UPDATE: Workman injured at primary school dies

THE workman injured by a falling manhole cover at a Langley Green school on Friday has died this afternoon (October 7).
The 26-year-old man suffered a serious head injury believed to have been caused by a manhole cover falling onto his head.
The incident took place on a building site in the grounds of Langley Green Primary School.
The workman, from Kent, was understood to have been working in a hole.

He was taken by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital in East London but died there this afternoon.
Police and the Health and Safety Executive are working together to investigate the circumstances.
