CRAWLEY Town boss John Gregory has dismissed rumours linking Andy Drury with a move to Luton Town, insisting the midfielder would not be interested in dropping down to League Two.
The Kent-born player, who still has a year to run on his Reds contract, had been rumoured to be close to completing a move to the newly-promoted Hatters, but Gregory says there has been no contract between the clubs.
“I’ve heard the rumours but I’m not sure Andy Drury would want to drop down to that level,” Gregory said. “There’s been no contact and nothing offered. Really it’s a compliment to Crawley Town that people are talking about our players.”
